So, the curtain closed on another Hillside awayday weekend, what a great time it was. Thanks to Doug for all his hard work in organising the event, plus the other helpers who were involved. The courses were in great condition, challenging in many places, the weather was a story of 2 seasons, summer on the Saturday, Winter on the Sunday… but we soldiered on. Well done to Liam Roberts on winning the monthly stableford. Congratulations to all the winners of the monthly events, the singles winner, doubles winners & the league winner. Liam Roberts won the driver draw; Shaun Forde won the 4-ball voucher. A special thanks to Shaun for the entertainment on Saturday night, just a shame no photos have emerged. You definitely deserved the headache you had Sunday morning Thanks again Doug, roll on next year.
